Angélica María Cepeda Jiménez or Angie Cepeda is a Colombian actress.

She was born to José Cepeda and Yadhira Jiménez in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia on August 2, 1974 and raised in Barranquilla. After her parents divorced she lived with her mother and two sisters (One of whom is actress Lorna Paz).

There was a time she thought of studying Publishing, however she discovered her vocation in drama and moved out to Bogotá and stayed with an aunt. Angie began her drama courses, then she was contracted by a beer company and made some advertisements for it. Next, she played some bit parts in several soap operas and movies in Colombia. Her lucky break was when Angie got a role in the soap opera "Las Juanas", opposite Susana Torres, getting the attention of some TV producers who offered her interesting jobs in prime time shows; most memorable of them was her leading role in Luz Maria (1998)_ , co-starring Christian Meier and Rosalinda Serfaty, and her leading role as Fiorella Morelli Flores de Mejia Guzman in Pobre Diabla (2000), opposite Salvador del Solar and Santiago Magill

In the cinematic world, Peruvian director Francisco Lombardi convinced her to portray a whore called La Colombiana in Pantaleon y las Visitadoras. It was a smash hit in Colombia, Spain, Peru and Argentina and got good reviews for her performance. She also got got huge compliments to her beauty and sensuality due to the nudity and steamy sex scenes in the movie

Angie Cepeda starred in Suddenly, Paradise (2004), Sammy and Me (2003), and Captain Pantoja and the Special Services (1999), for which she received rave reviews. Before she jumped into film, Angie was a successful soap opera actress (Luz María, Pobre Diabla.) Love for Rent is Angie's premiere English speaking feature.

Angie had a long-term relationship with her boyfriend, singer Diego Torres. She has a sister and tries to spend as much times with her niece and nephew as possible. She prefers to live alone.
