Angels Unlimited is the title of a series of fictional novels written by the British author Annie Dalton for young adults. The books are based around the character Melanie Beeby, who died the day after her thirteenth birthday, and soon found herself at the Angel Academy in heaven. As of January 24, 2007 there are nine novels, and three omnibus books. The book covers immediately stand out, as the book titles are always printed as a hologram, with the cover art showing Mel Beeby in a distinctive cartoon-like fashion.

The Angels Unlimited series was renamed The Agent Angel series on May 5 2005and also has different covers for each book.

The books are written in first person, focusing mainly around Mel, as the books are designed to have been written by her. The books also focus on Mel's best friends Lola (who Mel describes as her 'soulmate') and Reuben--later on, introducing the morally ambigious Brice. Each book focuses on a particular time-traveling mission, which Mel embarks on mainly in groups, but in the later books, alone.

The Agent Angel series is designed for young girls, especially the first book, however as the series furthers, and the characters and storylines mature, there are definite underlying messages in these books, and seem to be designed to make the reader think very hard about issues in life they may not have considered before. Budding Star especially has been described as having a rather 'magical vibe' to it, which proves how intelligent and unique Annie Dalton's writing is.
