Angelo Manzotti

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Angelo Manzotti, native from Mantova, Italy, is a sopranist singer and is the only countertenor who could impress the famous teacher Rodolfo Celletti so far. Already at the age of 12 he began to sing in the falsetto register. He studied at the Accademia Rossiniana in Pesaro and gave his debut in August 1989. After having won several prizes in Italy and the USA, he attended R. Celletti's master class in Milano. He developed a special technique where only the front parts of the vocal cords vibrate[citation needed].
