"Angel of Mine" is an R&B song written by Rhett Lawrence, and Travon Potts for British R&B girl group Eternal's Greatest Hits album (1997). The song was a number 4 hit in the UK (selling over 200,000 copies) and was successful in many European countries and other parts of the world. The song came to American fame when R&B singer Monica released the song as the third single from her second studio album The Boy Is Mine. The covered version peaked at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 in January 1999.
