Aneta Langerová

Aneta Langerová (born November 26, 1986 in Benešov) is a Czech female singer. Aneta became the first winner of Česko hledá SuperStar (Czech version of Pop Idol) in June 2004 with 79.1% of the votes. She released her first album, Spousta Andělů, on September 6, 2004, with 12 songs in Czech and one in English.

Despite the tennis racket that Aneta got at the age of 4 it was clear that she was to go another way. When she was 6, she started to take piano classes. In her 8 she applied to take guitar classes at a choir of Jiri Brada in Ricany. Beside the fact that she palayed guitar she started to sing in the choir and later started her solo career. Reaching 14 years she became an important fragment of SPB band in Sazava. She won Doremi TV Competition and Star Starters Contest and later in June 2004 Aneta became first Czech Pop Idol. The fact of winning Czech Pop Idol helped her achieve top rank on music scene in the Czech Republic. Aneta has released album titled Spousta andelu (A Lot Of Angels) and Spousta andelu: koncert (A Lot Of Angels: The Show) - it is record of concert which was held on Sept 9 2005. The recording was released on DVD and was titled Spousta andelu na ceste (A Lot Of Angels Along The Way). Aneta's idol is Canadian artist Alanis Morissette.
