[edit] Sources for VonBraun (Alien Planet)
Hello, good work on VonBraun (Alien Planet), and thanks for the contribution. However, you did not provide any references or sources in the article. Keeping Wikipedia accurate and verifiable is very important, and as you might be aware there is currently a push to encourage editors to cite the sources they used when adding content. From what websites, books, or other places did you learn the information that you added to VonBraun (Alien Planet)? Would it be possible for you to mention them in the article? You can simply add links, or see WP:CITET if you wish to review some of the different citation methods. Thanks! BRIAN0918 02:47, 6 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Ike.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Ike.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images on Wikipedia is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. You can get help on image copyright tagging from Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags. -- Carnildo 20:15, 31 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image Tagging for Image:Delta 3 Rocket.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Delta 3 Rocket.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

[edit] License tagging for Image:Mars96Arrival.gif
Thanks for uploading Image:Mars96Arrival.gif. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 22:26, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Vandal tags
Thank you for reverting vandalism on Wikipedia!
Be sure to put warning tags on the vandal's user talk page (such as {{subst:test}}
, {{subst:test2}}
, {{subst:test3}}
, {{subst:test4}}
). Add each of these tags on the vandal's talk page, in sequential order, after each instance of vandalism. Adding warnings to the talk page assists administrators in determining whether or not the user should be blocked. If the user continues to vandalize pages after you add the {{subst:test4}}
tag, request administrator assistance at Request for Intervention. Again, thank you for helping to make Wikipedia better. John254 02:43, 2 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Luna_13.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Luna_13.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

[edit] Missing spacecraft-stub
Thank you for creating the many spacecraft articles that you have. Please go through and add {{spacecraft-stub}} to them. I added it to a few, but you really should add appropriate stubs, especially when creating articles, since it is easier then. Hu 23:55, 5 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Welcome!
Hey, I won't bore you with the normal welcome template, but I wanted to take a second and thank you for your vandalism fighting contributions to Apollo 13. --Matthew 17:29, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] The Space Odyssey Series
You recently reverted a change of date back to "1953 to". Do you know why it says 1953 ? The Sentinel was earlier than that. Did something happen in 1953 ? -- Beardo 06:48, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Kyle 1009.PNG)
Thanks for uploading Image:Kyle 1009.PNG. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. [edit] hey thanks
thank you for "reverting vandalism" in a section of the article on American Idol on August 28, 2006, at 18:48 that wasn't vandalism, it was actually my own reversion of vandalism that I had discovered and I decided to correct, but I didn't know what to write, so I simply put "Insert real information here." I know that sentence went on and on and on, but you must understand how deeply I was insulted when I saw "reverting vandalism" appear after my own edit. A heartfelt apology would be appreciated. now. 207.255.66.200 04:37, 31 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Regarding edits to Mystery Science Theater 3000
Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia, Andy120290! However, your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove spam from Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert a good link, please accept my creator's apologies, but note that the link you added, matching rule proboards\d{1,3}\.com, is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. Please read Wikipedia's external links policy for more information. If the link was to an image, please read Wikipedia's image tutorial on how to use a more appropriate method to insert the image into an article. If your link was intended to promote a site you own, are affiliated with, or will make money from inclusion in Wikipedia, please note that inserting spam into Wikipedia is against policy.
