[edit] License tagging for Image:Stellenbosch WC ZA.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Stellenbosch WC ZA.jpg. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

[edit] Hermanus
Hi, I assume "(pop:48,346)" in the Hermanus article mean "population of 48,346"? Do you have a source where this number comes from? Thanks. Optimale Gu 11:47, 26 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Copyright status
Hello there, you have uploaded several images with no copyright information. Would you care to provide it? Otherwise, they are likely to be deleted off of Wikipedia, and they are great so wouldn't want that to happen. Páll (Die pienk olifant) 06:34, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image Tagging for Image:Bloemfontein_FS_ZA.jpg

[edit] Your edit to Worcester
Thanks for your edits: they are appreciated - you basically wrote the article!
Just a small note, you don't need to sign your edits to article pages with your name - I saw a Andresdewet signature at the bottom of the page, and have removed it. Don't worry and thanks again for editing Wikipedia! Check Wikipedia:Help if you need anything!

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Worcester WC ZA.JPG
Thanks for uploading Image:Worcester WC ZA.JPG. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
. If you have not already done so, please also include the source of the image. In many cases this will be the website where you found it.
Please specify the copyright information and source on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me, or ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Nilfanion (talk) 21:19, 14 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:CTICC.jpg
Thank you for uploading Image:CTICC.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Gay Cdn (talk) (Contr.) 23:13, 12 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Unspecified source for Image:Johannesburg_GP_ZA.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Johannesburg_GP_ZA.jpg. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then you need to specify who owns the copyright, please. If you got it from a website, then a link to the website where it was taken from with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher then their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 03:31, 18 January 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. MECU≈talk 03:31, 18 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Image:Johannesburg_GP_ZA.jpg listed for deletion
An image or media file that you uploaded or altered, Image:Johannesburg_GP_ZA.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion. Please look there to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. [edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Matroosberg WC ZA.jpg
Thank you for uploading Image:Matroosberg WC ZA.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you created this image yourself, please look at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#For image creators, select one of those tags, and add it to the image. To do that, simply go to Image:Matroosberg WC ZA.jpg, click "edit this page", and add the appropriate tag. Be sure to remove the current tag indicating a lack of licensing!
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me at User talk:Angr or at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. —Angr 14:09, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
