[edit] Moldovas language

I completly agree there is not a big difference between the languages in Moldova and Romania. But I have a few points to make about it. First of all this language was formed by both Moldavians and Romanians, so "Romanian" is only a name and Moldavians do not speak the language of Romania since Moldova took part in forming this language. Second of all the language did vairy in 1812 but when Moldova was devided into to parts one of the parts joined Romania and turning the language there into the same language, so if it is "someones" language it is defenetly Moldovas. Some of you might say :How can a language of a such a small country inflience the language of a country that big? Romania is big now, back then Moldova was three times bigger then Romania. Really Moldovas culture is older than Romanias. The word

"Moldavian" originated about in the sixth century while the word "Romanian" orignated about a hundred years later. The word Romania became known to mankind only since 1820s before that it was called "Tara Romaneasca", while the word Moldova goes back to the thirteeenth century. As a language theese to countries are one but as a culture they are different.--Andmunko 23:29, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
