Basel Riad Sabbagh (born June 28, 1988 in Durham, England) is a student currently attending the University of Waterloo in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. He is sometimes known by his alias And1Viper, or Viper for short.

Basel is a complex guy, but said to be perfect in every way. Respect is his #1 issue, but is a good, honest guy. Ever since elementary school, Basel has been a straight-A, 90% plus student, and at the top of his class. Currently attending the University of Waterloo for Electrical Engineering since the fall of 2006, he has been labeled 'gifted' by his peers, but some believe this has led him to get very lazy. Despite the laziness though, he manages to remain amongst the top of his class.
