[edit] Article Quality
Wow, so this is what a crappy article looks like. I've rarely come across something that was so raw. And I'm just basing that on the first couple of sentences. Tagged for cleanup. Unschool 04:36, 21 May 2006 (UTC)
- Well, the only result of what I've done (primarily structure, but also moved things around so that they made more sense and didn't repeat) is that it is now obvious that this article is little more than a big stub. I know so little about this guy; would someone who knows about his years as mayor and his years in the civil rights movement please add some material? Unschool 05:14, 21 May 2006 (UTC)
- This is a good foundation for a strong article. At least it doesn't begin with a bunch of crappy alternating POVs that we see on elected officials. 66.92.13.251 21:00, 1 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Latest Comments from Andre Young
The latest flap involving Mr. Young had him telling the Los Angeles Sentinel, "Those are the people who have been overcharging us — selling us stale bread, and bad meat and wilted vegetables. And they sold out and moved to Florida. I think they've ripped off our communities enough. First it was Jews, then it was Koreans and now it's Arabs, very few black people own these stores."
