Please translate the title of "His magnum opus, the Prakticheskiye pravila igrat'na gitare" into English!

Also, if it "may" be incorrect to credit Sykhra with inventing the 7-string guitar, who are the other candidates? A web-page on Ukraine folk instruments suggests that he may have modelled its tuning - an open G chord - on that of the torban or teorban.
