This is incorrect, Leonardo "left" the show because he says he fell back in love with a woman from his past (outside the show). He never indicated nor showed that he was upset because his dad started dating one of the contestants (Lucia Senda http://images.ibsys.com/2005/0721/4752418.jpg).
