Love: And a Million Other Things was Claudia Brücken's first solo album, released in 1991 and produced by Pascal Gabriel and Steve Nye. The UK singles from the album were "Fanatic", "Absolut(e)" and "Kiss Like Ether". None of these broke the UK top 40, and the album itself, failed to chart altogether. It is, nonetheless, a hugely coveted cult treasure, being very ahead of its time and extremely stylish. Brucken's vocals are beautiful; exotic-sounding and breathy at times, yet at others, she really knows how to belt it out. She knows how to make a darn good melody too, as exemplified by... oh... virtually the whole album!!
