[edit] Contradiction
How can this be both in the public domain, and copyrighted? J Milburn 13:21, 21 January 2007 (UTC)
Well cycling teams release these publicity and promotion postcards at the start of each cycling season and are happy to have them used in the public domain. Mick Knapton 14:13, 21 January 2007 (UTC)
- That sounds a little suspect to me. You cannot just presume that things are in the public domain, at all. What is the source of the image? Where does it state that it is in the public domain? J Milburn 14:15, 21 January 2007 (UTC)
OK Junior, if you're not happy just delete it. Small minded people like you get a kick out of being negative. Go forth Mick Knapton 14:48, 21 January 2007 (UTC)
- There is absolutely no need to be like that. I do not 'get a kick out of being negative', I simply have a basic understanding of the difference between something being in the public domain, and something being copyrighted. There was a contradiction on the page, so I brought it up here, and you offer limited help. In future, why don't you actually think about the liscensing on the images you upload, rather than just guessing that they are in the public domain because they are freely available?
