Andy Welti

Andy Welti is a DFL state representative from District 30B in Minnesota. He was first elected in 2004 as the youngest lawmaker in the 2005 MN Legislature, defeating four-term incumbent Bill Kuisle. He won re-election in 2006 with 52% of the vote in a rematch against Kuisle. Welti's main constituenties are: southern Rochester, St. Charles, Plainview, Stewartville, Dover and Eyota. He currently serves on four committees: Energy Finance and Policy Division, E-12 Education, Higher Education and Work Force Development Policy and Finance Division, and Agriculture, Rural Economics and Veterans Affairs Division.
