Andy Robinson (born November 3, 1979 in Birkenhead, Liverpool, UK) is a professional football player, currently playing for League One side Swansea City. He is part of the Scouse connection at the club and also the free-kick specialist.
Robinson began his football career playing for non-league Merseyside team Cammell Laird before being recruited by Tranmere Rovers on 1 December 2002. Rovers overlooked his potential however and soon released him, allowing Swansea City to snap him up; initially on a 3 month trial then on a permanent basis.
He possesses a terrific work-rate with a never say die attitude though his temper being his only detriment. He has missed more than a handful of games in his time at Swansea City, including the first 5 games of the 2005/06 season and has now seemed to calm himself and has not been red carded since.
