Andy Minnis was the Liberal Party of Australia candidate for the 2006 state election in the electoral district of Fisher.

Minnis is a serving South Australian Police Officer and was also 2004 Police Officer of the Year.

Minnis was defeated with a primary vote of only 18.5% at the 2006 state election by sitting independent Bob Such, ALP candidate Amanda Rishworth coming second.
