Andy Metcalf (born June 8, 1984 in Overland Park, Kansas) is an American soccer player, who last played midfielder for D.C. United in Major League Soccer, appearing regularly for the reserve team, but in no league matches.
Metcalf played college soccer for the University of Memphis from 2002 to 2005. He is ranked third all-time in school history with 39 goals. He was named to the Conference USA Second Team in 2003 and 2004. He also played in the USL Premier Development League with Nashville Metros and Cape Cod Crusaders.
He was selected in the second round, 19th overall, in the 2006 MLS Supplemental Draft by the D.C. United. Metcalf scored his first goal as a substitute in an international friendly against Celtic, in which DC United surprised Celtic 4-0. Following the 2006 season, however, Metcalf was waived.
Metcalf has since joined the Atlanta Silverbacks.
