Andy Masur

Andy Masur (born 1967) is an American sportscaster with the San Diego Padres on XX Sports Radio. He joined the Padres for the 2007 baseball season. His contract includes the 2007 and 2008 seasons, with an option for 2009.

Masur, a Chicago native and a graduate of Loyola University in that city, worked for the Chicago Cubs as a pre-game and post-game host from 1999-2006, and also subbed for play-by-play announcer Pat Hughes.

While in Chicago, he also worked as a sports reporter and anchor for WGN Radio and called the play-by-play of Loyola University basketball.

Masur is a graduate of Bradley University.

Masur started his radio career in Peoria, IL working at co-owned stations WMBD-AM and WKZW-FM (KZ-93).
