Andy Jacobs

Andy Jacobs (Born 1953) is a British sports radio personality who presents the Hawksbee and Jacobs show alongside Paul Hawksbee on talkSPORT in the UK.

Jacobs was also the executive producer of cult comedy show Fantasy Football League working closely alongside Frank Skinner and David Baddiel, and is an extremely blinkered Chelsea fan. He was the voice of Gonzo in The Muppet Show[citation needed] as his father was a good friend of Jim Henson.

He is a very keen cricketer and is a member of the Grove Park Cricket Club where he was voted most improved player of the season for 2006.[1] He has also played for the world famous showbiz and pro am teams Bunbury and Lashings. His finest moment was having Sri Lankan test legend Aravinda de Silva caught at mid on; his worse being one of only four bowlers in cricket history to be hit for 6 sixes in one over when West Indies test player Franklyn Stephenson took him for maximum in Norma Major's annual match at Alconbury.
