Andy Ferrell (born 9 January 1984 in Newcastle upon Tyne) is an English footballer who currently plays for Hereford United as a central midfielder.

He began his career at Newcastle United where he progressed through the youth teams, initially at left-back. By his fourth season he was a regular in the reserve team, now playing in a midfield role, but was released at the end of the 2003-04 season without making an appearance for the first team.

He had a spell at Watford in the 2004-05 season where he made an impact in the two League Cup games in which he appeared. In the First Round against Cambridge he came on as a substitute and scored the winning goal. In the next round against Reading, again as a substitute, his cross was put into the net by a Reading defender. He played in Watford's reserve team for the rest of the season. After being released he had trials with several clubs including Darlington but signed for Hereford after impressing in pre-season friendlies.

In his first season with the club he was a regular in the first team, making 43 appearances and scoring 2 goals in all competitions. He signed a new contract with the club for the forthcoming season in April 2006. Andy has been in and out of the starting XI this season, notably scoring a spectacular volley against Port Vale in the FA Cup. He was also voted joint Player of the Month for December.

He has been loaned to Kidderminster Harriers for the remainder of the season.
