Andromeda (British band)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Andromeda was an English hard, progressive psychedelic rock group, formed in 1968, who were originally called 'Five Day Week Straw People.' Led by John Du Cann, they recorded an eponymous LP in 1969, which was re-released in 2000 as a 2 disc set that contained that album and a number of demos, singles, and live recordings. Singer of the band was Richard Shirman, formerly with The Attack. The group split upon Du Cann's departure to join Atomic Rooster in 1970.
