Andrews High School (Texas)

Andrews High School (AHS) in Andrews, Texas serves grades 9-12 and is the only high school in Andrews Independent School District. As of 2006 it had an enrollment of some 909 students.

As of 2006 the Texas Education Agency rates the school as "Academically Acceptable". 31% of students are classed as economically disadvantaged, well below the state average of 55%.[1]. According to 2004-5 figures the student body is predominantly Hispanic (51%) and "White, non-Hispanic" (46%).
