Andrew Slack

Andrew Slack (born Brisbane 24/09/1995) was a Australian Rugby Union player for the QLD Reds in the late 70's and early 80's. Slack represented QLD a massive 133 times, only surpassed by Mark Connors in 2006.

Andrew played centre for the Reds and went on to play for Australia, representing Australia 39 tests and co captain the Wallabies in 19 of them. His most notable tests would have been the 1984 Wallabies Grand Slam tour of England, Wales and Scotland, the first Australian side to achieve such a feat.

Andrew Slack also coached the QLD Reds in 2003,a season which saw the Reds finish 8th, Andrew quit as coach after the unsuccessful season.
