[edit] Film career
After taking up a number of jobs for short periods of time, Andrew got a small-time job as an on-set assistant for the 1964 film Tom Jones. It was then he decided he wanted to be a director, and, after three years climbing the promotion ladder, making money by writing scripts part-time, he was given a small budget to make a film, and he produced The Grim Death in 1967. The Grim Death was a flop, the first and only film he produced.
[edit] Later life
After his failure, he continued writing scripts, and died of Bowel Cancer, in his house in Dorset, in 2002.
