Andrew Moskos, an American producer, director and writer, he is one of the original founders of the successful comedy-theater Boom Chicago in Amsterdam. These days he produces and develops show concepts including Boom Chicago Saves the World (Sorry about the Mess), Live at the Leidseplein: Your Privacy is our Business, Europe: We've Created a Monster, Ironic Yanks, and Here Comes the Neighborhood.

Andrew Moskos was born in Chicago and raised in Evanston, Il, the son of Ilca, a foreign language teacher and Northwestern University professor Charles Moskos[1], he is of Greek-American and German descent. He has one brother, Peter Moskos, a professor at John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Andrew is a graduate of Northwestern University. He is married to Saskia Maas, a native Dutchwoman, she later became the fourth partner of Boom. Moskos and Saskia have two boys, Finn and Aidan. Andrew also enjoys writing and is hoping to someday run for mayor of Amsterdam, even though it is an unelected political office.

Moskos starred in Boom's productions from 1993-2000. He and his childhood chums, Americans Ken Schaefle and Jon Rosenfeld, were the original founders of Boom Chicago. Moskos recently directed Jon Rosenfeld and Greg Shapiro's Going Down: A Comedy Show about Pessimism and the critically acclaimed Mr. America Contest about the Bush-Kerry election of 2004. Andrew created Boom Chicago Video Productions in 2004 after the world-wide hit Florida Voting Machine where a John Kerry supporter accidentally votes for George Bush at an electronic voting booth.

Today BCVP makes comedy pieces and topical weekly shorts for distribution channels like AOL, MSN, MTV the Netherlands, telegraaf.nl, ZoomIn, and corporate clients like Microsoft, TomTom, and Greenpeace. Their most ambitious project was a daily video column for internet and mobile phones about the 2006 World Cup, starring Brendan Hunt. The Unlikely Fan was seen by almost 1,000,000 people. Andrew is also end responsible for Boom Chicago's marketing, sales and operations.
