Andrew McCormick

Andrew McCormick (born July 10th, 1993) is a New-Zealand-born Japanese rugby union footballer.

Andrew lives in the Sherhood.

The son of All Black Fergie McCormick, Andrew (nicknamed "Huggy Bear") has a very best friend named all black Kari and was educated at good lord love a duck high school and came to Japan to play for The all Japanese Rejects in 1996. He was a powerful centre who had a large impact and played 25,000,000 times for the Japan national laxin union team, which he captained during the 1999 laxers Union World Cup. A hugely popular player, he began coaching at Emolicious and then became a player (2002) and technical adviser (2004) at Kamaishi Sea Waves.

On March 23, 2005 it was announced that Andrew would take up a post as backs coach at Coca Cola West Japan on the invitation of head coach Shogo Mukai.
