Andrew Maxwell

Andrew Maxwell is an Irish stand-up comedian raised in Kilbarrack, Dublin, Ireland. He is 34, with one son.

He appeared on the newly revived Secret Policeman's Ball (2006). He has also appeared on the TV show, Never Mind the Buzzcocks. He also regularly appears on RTE comedy news show The Panel.

He was voted the "King of Comedy" on the Channel 4 reality TV show of the same name.

He also hosts his own weekly late night comedy gig Fullmooners, which mainly takes place in London but also tours around comedy festivals such as Edinburgh and the Kilkenny Cat Laughs. It has featured comics like Russell Brand, Simon Pegg, Tommy Tiernan and Jason Byrne. It also features break-dancers and singers.

He used to be somewhat of a regular on BBC Two's Sunday Show with Peter Kay.

Most recently he has become a regular co-host of the very popular Irish current-events/comedy show The Panel. On the final episode of the most recent series, which aired on the 29th January 2007, it was mentioned to Maxwell that his Wikipedia entry had been vandalised and stated that he had grown tentacles to attack and molest innocent people. Maxwell joked that, not all of them were innocent.
