Andrew Francis Blowers (born 27 March 1975 in Auckland, New Zealand) is a rugby union player who plays for Bristol in the Guinness Premiership. He played for the All Blacks between 1996 and 1999 in which he had played 11 tests and 7 games. His position is flanker.

Bristol announced the signing of the former All Black to boost their push for Heineken Cup qualification following the loss of Dan Ward-Smith to injury. He was to have joined Richard Hill's squad for the start of the 2007-8 season but, with Ward-Smith suffering a season ending knee injury at Northampton on January 27th, Blowers has agreed to bring forward his arrival and will be available for selection against London Wasps on March 4th.[1]

[edit] International career

Blowers All Black's debut on Tuesday, 6 August 1996 versus Boland Invitation XV at Worcester, scoring on his debut. Four days later he received his first international cap versus South Africa at Cape Town.
