Andrejs Vlascenko

Andrejs Vlascenko (born June 15, 1974 in Weimar, Germany) is a figure skater who competed in men's singles. Born in East Germany while his father was stationed there in the Soviet army, he returned to the Soviet Union as a child and grew up there. From 1992 to 1994, he represented Latvia in international competition, and he participated in the 1994 Winter Olympics, finishing 21st. He began skating for Germany when he moved there in 1994. He is a four time gold medalist at the German Figure Skating Championships but has never represented that country at the Winter Olympics.
