Andrei Belanov

Andrei Belanov is a fictional football (soccer) player who appeared on the British drama Dream Team, about the equally fictitious Harchester United. He is played by Casper Zafer.

Character description: "Squad Number: 6, Andrei Belanov is Ukrainian who signed for £3.5m in the summer. For Andrei, moving to the UK and Premiership is like visiting a huge candy store - the lifestyle, the money and the women. He has been waiting his whole life for an opportunity like this and now it has come, he intends making the most of it. Andrei is highly skilful but not necessarily suited to the English game. He will have to get used to three players snapping at his heels and his captain barking at him from behind. A good natured guy, Andrei makes friends easily off the pitch but the only question mark is will he make friends on it." Belanov was transferred to Monaco after having a fight with Bandele in series 5. It is rumored that Belanov may return for the final series.

He should not be confused with Igor Belanov, who is a real soccer player.
