Andreas Zapatinas

Andreas Zapatinas is a Greek automobile designer, born in Athens in 1957. He has worked with Fiat (chief designer of the Fiat Barchetta), BMW, Alfa Romeo (designer, in part, of Alfa Romeo 145 and Alfa Romeo 147). As of 2002 he is Head of Advanced Design with Subaru. At Subaru, he is often credited with the controversial propeller nose design first introduced on the Subaru B9 Tribeca. As of 2006, it has been reported that the design will not appear on any future vehicles. It is believed that Andreas was fired from Subaru in July 2006.
