Andreas Hemmeth

Andreas Bang Hemmeth, aka DJ Encore (b. 1979 in Copenhagen) is a Danish songwriter, music producer and artist.

He has been top of the charts in Denmark, USA, United Kingdom, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Brazil, France with different projects. The best results are 5x platinum in Denmark songwriting for the boy band C21, 2x platinum with Dj Encore (himself), platinum songwriting for the Finnish rock band Tik Tak and gold songwriting for the Danish project Laze. Hemmeth has also been number 1 on the American Billboard with a remix for Res, and top 5 twice in United Kingdom with a remix of LeAnn Rimes and Frou Frou.

Hemmeth's U.S. debut was in 2001 as DJ Encore, paired with Danish vocalist Engelina. His CD "Intuition" was released in 2002. The MCA Records fan site reported his music in the top requests of radio stations in L.A. and Chicago with "Walking in the Sky."

His other hits which feature on the CD include "You've got a Way," "High on Life " and The UK top charter " I see right through to you."

Hemmeth is listed as attending Roskilde University. He is also listed as Praktikant (Trainer) for Det Radikale Venstre (Danish Social Liberal Party), in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Recently, the artist announced the next album entitled "Unique" to be released in the U.S. May 2007.
