Andreas Glyniadakis (Greek: Ανδρέας Γλυνιαδάκης; born August 21, 1981 in Hania, Greece) is a Greek professional basketball player who currently plays for the Albuquerque Thunderbirds of the NBA Development League. A 7'1", 280 lbs. center, Glyniadakis was drafted by the Detroit Pistons in the 2nd round (58th overall) of the 2003 NBA Draft. Before going to play in the United States, he played for Kydon of Hania, Panathinaikos, Peristeri and AEK in Athens. He played with the Atlanta Hawks during the 2006 preseason but was cut before the regular season began. He also played with the Albuquerque Thunderbirds of the National Basketball Development League. Glyniadakis was signed by the Seattle SuperSonics on November 5, 2006 and was waived on January 4, 2007.
