Andre Nickatina

Andre Nickatina, born March 11th, is an American underground hardcore rapper from San Francisco, California who has been an active participant in the underground hip hop scene since the early 1990s.
Andre Nickatina first appeared on the Bay Area rap scene in 1993 under the name Dre Dog with the group I.M.P (Ill Mannered Playas) titled album "Back in the Days", followed closely by a solo project,The New Jim Jones , and "Raven in My Eyes" was the first album that he released under the name Andre Nickatina and has since released nine solo albums, an amateur film, several albums with fellow local rapper, Equipto and contributed significantly to the film and soundtrack for the 2005 documentary, The Gift.
Nickatina also heads his own record label known as Fillmoe Coleman Records and is known to be one of the busiest underground rappers in the business, reportedly keeping steady work on various music and film projects. In 2005, he was awarded the Bay Area Hip Hop Award for Underground Artist of the Year as well a nomination for Underground Album of the Year for his 2004 release Bullets, Blunts In Ah Big Bankroll.[1]
Although quite reclusive, he is considered to be one of the Big Bay FIVE, along with Mac Dre, Keak Da Sneak, Mistah F.A.B., and E-40
