André Ribeiro

André Ribeiro (born January 18, 1966 in São Paulo, São Paulo), is a former IndyCar World Series and CART race car driver. Ribeiro drove in Champ Car for 4 seasons, scoring 3 wins (New England 200 1995; IndyCar Rio 400 1996; Marlboro 500 1996) and 2 poles (New England 200 1995; Molson Indy Toronto 1996). He drove primarily for Tasman Racing and Penske Racing. He started once in the Indianapolis 500, in 1995, with a finish of 18th.

He retired from racing at the end of 1998 season, and received an offer to work in business of Roger Penske in South America, with United Auto. He has 8 dealerships of cars in São Paulo, and his business with Roger Penske are going very well in Brazil.
