André Patry

André Patry (November 22, 1902 – June 20, 1960) was a French astronomer.

He was orphaned at a young age, and began working at the Observatoire de Nice at the age of 17.
He studied asteroids and discovered a few. Asteroid 1601 Patry is named after him.
