André Marchand

André Marchand started to play piano at age of three and grew up as a member of Dresdner Kreuzchor.
At age of 27 he became Professor of Piano in the University of Wisconsin and Artist in Residence of Center for New Music.
At 30 he followed the invitation to be Professor of Piano at Staatliche Hochschule für Musik in Freiburg, and since 1985 he is teaching as Professor of Piano in University of Music and Performing Arts in Stuttgart.
He is a founding member of Rotary club Freibur-Zähringen and member of UNICEF International, Malteser and Johanniter Foundations.
