Anderusen Dowa Ningyo Hime is a Japanese movie based on Hans Christian Andersen's The Little Mermaid. The movie is quite similar to the original story, even with a similar plot line; it ends on a sad note as Andersen initially wrote it, unlike the Disney version. The protagonist is named Marina; her sidekick, instead of a fish named Flounder, or a crab named Sebastian, is a baby dolphin named Fritz.
