Anders Eriksson (born January 9, 1975, in Bollnäs, Sweden) is a Swedish professional ice hockey player with the Columbus Blue Jackets in the NHL.

[edit] Playing career
Eriksson is a big defenseman who has great offensive skills, but is known to make mistakes on defense.[1] He was drafted 1st (23rd overall) in the 1993 NHL Entry Draft by Detroit Red Wings.
In the NHL Eriksson has played for the Detroit Red Wings (4 seasons), Chicago Blackhawks (3 seasons), Florida Panthers (2 seasons), Toronto Maple Leafs (2 seasons), and Columbus Blue Jackets (1 season). He has also played for St. John's Maple Leafs, Syracuse Crunch, and Springfield Falcons of the AHL.[1] In 1999 The Detroit Red Wings sent Eriksson and 2 first round draft picks to the Chicago Blackhawks for Chris Chelios.
After a two-year absence from the NHL, Eriksson re-signed with his latest NHL club Columbus Blue Jackets on July 1, 2006, for a one-year deal.[2]
