From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Anda is a small island in the municipality of Øksnes in the Norwegian county of Nordland. It lies in the Vesterålen archipelago, about 5 km north of the northern tip of Langøya, and west of Andøya. It is home to the Anda lighthouse, which was the last lighthouse in Norway to be automated, in 1987. The island is protected as a nature reserve, and is an important nesting area for Atlantic Puffin.

Kittiwakes, razorbills, Common Shags, Herring Gulls and Black Guillemots also nest there. There is large seal colony on the island.
