[edit] Plot
The main plot concerns Bobby's infatuation with an older girl named Marie. Marie is a vegetarian who finds Bobby's behavior amusing. He begins to see her as his girlfriend and she increases this idea by giving him his first kiss. Later it becomes clear he has much stronger feelings for her than she does for him. She makes it known she does not really have any romantic interest in him, which leaves him crushed. Later he lifts his spirits, and gets revenge on her, by eating a large steak in a restaurant she is dining at with her parents. This scene establishes that her parents are more like the Hill family than they are like her as they cheer Bobby's meat-eating onward.
The other plot concerned a couch left near the fence where Hank, Boomhauer, Bill, and Dale drink beer. At first Hank is strongly against the couch's presence and wants it sent away, but after the others give in he began to enjoy sitting instead of standing with the other guys. After that they try various ways to hide the couch from the trash pick-up services. These ultimately fail and the gang returns to standing instead. It's revealed during the credits that Bill took the couch while no one was watching for his own personal use in his house. This couch has a role in the main story as Marie first kisses Bobby on this couch.
