IMDb profile

And God Created Woman is a 1988 film that starred Rebecca De Mornay, Vincent Spano, Frank Langella, and Donovan Leitch, Jr.

The film was directed by Roger Vadim. He also directed the 1956 French-language film Et Dieu... créa la femme, released in the United States as ... And God Created Woman. According to critic Roger Ebert, the two films shared little except a title and a director. [1]

[edit] Plot summary

De Mornay's character is as a mischief-causing temptress who will do anything to escape the confines of prison. Spano is her boy-toy accomplice who struggles to support his dysfunctional, poor family. His "responsible" and serious demeanor is a sharp contrast to De Mornay's "happy-go-lucky" nature, and their sexual tension is the crux around which the movie revolves.
