Anchal Joseph is an American model of Indian descent. She is 5'10" (177.5 cm) tall.

[edit] Biography

She was born on January 3, 1987 in New Delhi, India. At the age of six, her family moved from India to the United States. Joseph currently resides in Homestead, Florida. [1]

During America’s first introduction with Anchal, (as a top 13 finalist on "America’s Next Top Model" Cycle 7), viewers immediately agreed with Tyra Banks, famed photographer Nigel Barker, and other judges J Alexander and Twiggy, when they made comments referring to her as one of the most beautiful contestants from any cycle of the show. Anchal was instantly voted the fan favorite to win, beating the contestant in second place by a 2 to 1 ratio at the beginning of the season. She was voted “Cover Girl of the Week” for the first two weeks of the cycle and won numerous fan polls on The CW Lounge, including polls which named her the most beautiful contestant, the sexiest contestant, and the contestant with the best body, among others.

With her exotic beauty and interestingly odd, almost cartoon-like features, Anchal was a front runner to win the competition. Ultimately, Anchal lacked the confidence needed to impress the judges and finished her run at the midpoint of the competition. Anchal’s earlier modeling work includes a photo spread shot by world famous photographer Bruce Weber that appeared in French Vogue, as well as a feature in Zoom magazine.

[edit] Education

Joseph is currently enrolled at Miami-Dade College in Homestead, Florida majoring in Nuclear Medicine.
