[edit] Birth rates

Hi, thanks for adding the birth rates for Russian federal subjects. However, could you, please, go back and add the information on where these figures come from? Thanks for your interest!—Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky) • (yo?); 18:46, 27 November 2006 (UTC)

Thanks! I was, however, wondering, if you could add these links to the references section of the articles you added this information to.—Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky) • (yo?); 17:07, 18 December 2006 (UTC)

Links for Wikipedians interested in Hindu content

A tag has been placed on Mercio Pereira Gomes, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (below the existing db tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Mhking 13:38, 23 January 2007 (UTC)

Hi Axxn - Thanks for your message to Please review the article Mercio Pereira Gomes. I've fixed up the article a bit and removed the speed-deletion tags. Hope it's ok now. I should let you know though I'm not an admin here on wikipedia and I don't review pages or anything. How did you find me by the way? :-) Thanks again for letting me know about the issue - I hadn't heard the news about Possuelo. Tomtefarbror 17:29, 23 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Re: Demographics of Russia

Numbers come straight from census data: http://www.perepis2002.ru/ct/html/TOM_12_05.htm (sorry, it seems that they don't have these tables in English).

If a woman enters her ethnicity as Ukrainian and her child's ethnicity as Russian, her child is counted towards fertility rate of Ukrainians and towards median age of Russians. I don't know how mixed ethnicity mothers were treated. --Itinerant1 07:02, 24 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Hinduism in Indonesia

I noticed you have edited those related pages as well. Have you looked into Gedong Bagus Oka or Parisada Hindu Dharma ? I also have an account on indonesian wikipedia mostly adding relevant Hinduism cats to pages.Bakaman 18:00, 30 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] regarding democraphics of Kazahstan

Hi this inquiry is about a table on demographics in Kazakhstan page. I have noticed a while back that you created the table. Since it was a welcomed addition I did not pay much attention. Today, however, I noticed that there are categories that the Soviet Union did not use in censuses, like Kara Kyrgyz. I checked (your?) citation at the bottom of the table which links to a document Phavna Dave authored. That document does not contain such a table? I am concerned because it might not be accurate. Would you care to comment on this matter? thanks in advance. cs 17:39, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
