An Unusual Concert (1946) (Russian: Необыкновенный концерт, Neobyknovennyj Kontsert) is one of Sergey Obraztsov best known shows, which have entered the gold stock of the world's dramatic art. This masterpiece of unsurpassed Puppeteer satirizes faulty performers and addresses both children and adults.

An Unusual Concert is some kind of a revue. Here we laugh not at genres, but at such actors who spoil these genres by their poor performance, - says Sergey Obraztsov. Created by an outstanding Russian director, An Unusual Concert is the most well known doll performance (puppet-show) of the XX century, the unique phenomenon of world theatrics. Premiere took place in 1946 - and its triumphal procession has begun with this moment all over the planet.

The show demonstrates rather complicated puppeteering technique. For example, there is a dancing couple whose tango movements require the skill of seven puppeteers.
