Codladh |
An Dara Bhlas, meaning 'The Second Taste', is Robbi's second solo project. The tracklist contains some songs you may hear on 'Aisling Bhán', although the tunes and compositions are different.
Announcment from his site:
30th November 2003
"An Dara Bhlas was a project to see how far I could go. I think that it is a good basis to begin my portfolio of music. The songs are four of my favorite traditional songs, and I have a feeling that you'll hear a few more versions of them by myself in the close years to come. Bain sult!"
Boasting a harmonic multi-toned voice, Robbi made this single a success, relaunching it in Dublin in February 2004. Robbi performed at the relaunch with Maighréad Nic Giolla Easpuig, and band, MacTamhlacht.
