Amy Winfrey

Amy Winfrey is an artist and animator, residing in Los Angeles, California.
Winfrey studied animation as a graduate student at UCLA. Her published work includes animation for the South Park television series. She has specialized in doing diverse, usually satirical short subjects using Macromedia Flash. Work includes "Big Bunny", a huge and carnivorous rabbit, and Making Fiends, an ongoing series of darkly amusing stories in which Vendetta, a child who creates fiends, interacts with the innocent Charlotte and other children in a grade school setting.
Her Muffin Films explores different styles of Flash animation in twelve different shorts, using muffins as the subject of the stories, which includes muffins that want to be eaten and those that don't, results of having an excess of muffins or none at all, muffins from outer space, muffins that haunt their devourers, and muffins expressing their angst.
Most of Winfrey's Flash work is presented on the web without charge.
