Amy Robach

Amy Robach (born 1972 in Michigan) is an anchor at MSNBC. She competed in pageants starting in high school before working as a journalist. She joined the network in 2003 from WTTG-TV in Washington D.C.. In addition to her hosting duties as the 9am ET. anchor for MSNBC Live, Robach is an alternating News Anchor on NBC News's Weekend Today and occasional guest host for Countdown. She graduated from the University of Georgia with an A.B. in journalism. She lived half of her childhood in St. Louis, spent nine years in Georgia, and moved on to South Carolina, Washington, D.C., and the New York area. She is a cousin of former Snellville, Georgia Nashville Star contestant Matt Lindahl; both have appeared on Imus in the Morning. She lives in New Jersey with her husband Tim and their daughters.
