The Amul World Cricket Rankings is a rating system for both cricket teams and individual cricketers using their combined performances in Test and one day international (ODI) cricket. Most other cricket rating systems consider the two forms of the game as distinct and provide separate rankings for each.

[edit] How ratings are calculated

The Amul team ratings are based on a very simple calculation. Teams are awarded one point for a win and half a point for draws, ties or no-results, whether they are test matches or one day internationals. Only matches in the past 12 months are included. The total points are then divided by the total number of games played to give a percentage rating for each team.

The individual ratings are no less simple. The batting rating is simply the combined runs a player has scored in both tests and ODIs while the bowling rating is simply the combined wickets taken in both forms of the game.
